Gain Structure on MR18 inputs

    Gain Structure on MR18 inputs

    Do the MR18 has different gain structure or preamp settings for the XLR and balanced TRS inputs?

    My A&H has different gain settings (actually they say different preamps) if I plug in an XLR or TRS on the same channel, I just can't find this info for my MR18.

    No, the trs and xlr share the same preamp. Only the hi-z inputs on the xr18 differs in the input circuit.

    As above. The reason for the difference is the A&H consoles typically have a 10dB pad on the line ins.
