    SD16 microphone inputs not working

    We have a SD16 stage box that partially stopped working after loosing power a couple of times in one night. All the mic inputs have stopped working - choir monitor, floor wedges, subwoofer and send to another building are all fine.

    I have done the following trouble shooting:

    Turned unit off and unplugged for a short amount of time;

    Changed the CAT 6 cable from A to B (also at X32 board);

    Plugged handle mic into all the mic lines with no signal;

    Checked routing on the board with no changes;

    I will turn off power and unplug for an extended period today (a few hours) to see if that helps.

    Any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

    Hi Timothy,

    Welcome to the forum.

    First of all plug the AES50 cable from the X32 back into the A port of the S16. The B port is used for cascading stageboxes only.

    Secondly, what mode is the S16 in at present (see wiki)?

    Next, I would suggest you upload your current scene file. Here are the instructions

    Mode shouldn't be a problem: it's an SD16.

    Thanks Craig. What's a "D" amongst friends?
