    FCA 610 Power Supply needed

It seems to be very hard to find a suitable power supply for my FCA 610. Original power is lost. 2V / 2000mA does not exist in Finland, not in whole scandinavia, says the local dealer. Any ideas please...

    Hi Simo,

Welcome to the forum. Looking at the back photo on the FCA610 product page, it shows the input power requirements as 12VDC, 1200mA, which is a very standard power adapter. If for some reason you can't pick one up locally, you can get it from ebay or contact CARE (contact info is in my signature below).

Thanks Paul, but my FCA610 is really for only 2 V , not 12. Most standard power supplys range from 3 to 12 V.

Is that what is written on the back of your unit Simo? Are you certain that the "1" is not rubbed off? I've never come across a piece of electronic equipment with anything lower than 3.3VDC. I would suggest you contact CARE.

You can be 100% sure that it needs 12V.
2V makes no sense from a technical point of view.

    Hi Simo,

I just got confirmation from CARE for you that the input voltage is indeed 12VDC.

Just to repeat/clarify, it should be 12VDC, not 2VDC. The "1" must have rubbed off on your unit.

Hi Ariel, welcome to the forum.

Our CARE team has let me know that the FCA610 has an internal rectifier so 12 volt positive tip, 12 volt negative tip, it doesn't matter. That's why it's not specified anywhere in the product documentation.

    Hope this helps!
